A theatrical mask

Even though my site is called 'The Edinburgh Spanker', I do sometimes travel and offer disciplinary services in other cities. Recently I was in London for a week of work meetings and was very pleased to be able to spank two fantastic women while I was there. One particular session was of a type I don't do very often, but under the right circumstances can be a lot of fun and very cathartic. I'm talking about role-play.

When K and I first met, the subject of role-play came up. In fact, she told me that she didn't enjoy it. Intriguingly, she said that she originally imagined that she would like it, but after trying it once, found the experience unfulfilling and hard work. I suspected as the trust built between us, we might come back to the idea. Last week, we did.

It turned out that K's first experience of role-play left a lot to be desired. The spanker she was sessioning with had a very clear view of what he wanted to experience and as a result, the scene was too scripted for her. For K, that took the spontaneity and fun out of the session. The particular scenario also felt somewhat alien to her; too far away from her personal lived experience to be relatable. As a result, she found herself unable to immerse herself in the fantasy of a punishment that was outside of her control.

Taking this on board, we chose a scene that K found relatable: a workplace annual review. She had fantasized about being spanked by previous bosses, so this scenario was easy for her to imagine herself being part of. In effect, she didn't have to 'act', so much as just be herself reacting in a fantastic situation. All I had to do as the spanker was to lead the scene in an interesting direction, and keep her guessing about what might happen next.

The scene began in a fairly straightforward way, with K coming into 'my office' for the review. We chatted a little about how she felt things were going, grounding the conversation and the scene in aspects of K's real life experiences. Once I saw her begin to relax, I decided to make things interesting and discuss a specific infraction. I claimed this infraction had a prescribed punishment according to a fictional employee handbook. Knowing K as I do, I knew the idea would amuse her as much as the prescribed punishment of twelve strokes of the cane would excite her.

Once the cane had served its purpose of making K feel vulnerable and at the mercy of a strict disciplinarian, the rest of the scene was given over to a multi-implement, multi-position spanking for general tardiness and poor attitude. At this point, she had completely immersed herself in the scene and was able to enjoy the fantasy of loss of control and of being punished.

Giving a good spanking requires skills. There are the physical skills of how to use the implements effectively and safely, and the emotional skills needed to look after the spankee, measure their reactions to gauge the appropriate level of intensity, and make sure that they feel safe. Leading a fulfilling role-play as a spanker adds another level of complexity.

As a disciplinarian, I find that every session is different and that each spankee has their own psychological needs, whether they come to me for real-life discipline, or the stress relief and catharsis of a spanking just for fun. So take your time before attempting a role-play and think carefully about the needs that are being fulfilled. If you do that, role-play can be a very rewarding experience for everybody involved.
